Using Hook and Son website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. We may update these terms and conditions at anytime. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you should not place an order and terminate using this site.

Without prejudice the content of this website is owned or licensed by us; Hook and Sons. It may not be copied or used in anyway. Any links to our site may not have been verified by us and we cannot be held responsible for their content.

SUPPLY
The sale of Hook and Sons products are supplied on the condition that they are NOT for re-sale. Hook and Son supply on the condition they are going to be consumed by the end consumer.
The delivery will be made to the address stated on the order confirmation received by us from our automated web shop www.hookandsonfarmshop.co.uk . The liability to supply the correct delivery address is with the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible to ensure that they have made suitable arrangements to receive the delivery and informing us of any appropriate leave safe instructions via the comments box. In the event of a parcel being stolen or damaged if left safe we do not accept liability and any compensation requests will be offered at the management’s discretion. All orders which do not have a specific leave safe instruction will be messaged with ‘If Out leave @ Property’ to avoid the milk being taken back to the couriers depot. If the courier feels that there is not an appropriate place to leave the milk safe and the milk is returned to the depot, we will not accept liability for the delay in receiving the consignment.
We reserve the right not to deliver to all postcodes and the right not to accept and order from any customer. An extra delivery charge may be payable if outside of our delivery zones and must be paid prior to dispatching the consignment being dispatched.
We will do our upmost to dispatch your delivery on time, we reserve the right to change the delivery day if we are unable to complete the order in order to avoid delivery shortages. We shall tell you via email if we need to do so.

DELIVERIES TO FLATS
Please consider before placing your order that suitable arrangements are made for someone to be home to receive the delivery. If the courier attempts a delivery and is unsuccessful it will be returned to the couriers depot. We will not be liable for a delivery delay if the courier attempts a delivery and a post box is unavailable to advise he was unable to gain access. We would advise to opt for a before 12 delivery to give you a better idea as to when to expect the delivery.

DELIVERY DELAY
We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these terms and conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood, extreme weather conditions and other acts of God, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment, disruption to the website, road traffic problems. If a delivery is delayed we would expect you to accept the delivery and inspect its contents. We have upmost confidence in our packaging and it has been temperature tested and the delivery should still be in good condition when it arrives. Any delivery delays must be notified within 24 hours of when the expected delivery should have arrived. The 12 pint packs and 24 pint packs are only available to order with an Ice Sheet; during the summer months we advise that the order is placed on an AM delivery. If an AM delivery is not selected and the delivery is delayed or arrives soured we will not refund or replace the order. By placing an order for the 12 pint or 24 Pint packs without an AM delivery you are accepting this term and condition. In an event of a delay please contact sales@hookandson.co.uk quoting your delivery postcode within 24 hours of the delivery being delayed.

CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS
If the milk supplied under a standing order is no longer required the cancellation of the funds to be paid to Hook and Son must be cancelled by the customer. The customer MUST contact their bank concerned direct Hook and Son are unable to cancel the funds on your behalf. If the funds continue to be paid to Hook and Son Hook and Son will continue to deliver milk until the funds are no longer received. In the event that a refund needs to be raised any credit held on account should be used as payment for goods. In the event that this is not possible and a cash refund is required we reserve the right to issue a charge of £2.50 per £10.00 of credit refunded in order to cover the additional administration costs that are incurred.
Monday for Tuesday Delivery: You have until 11.00 am on Friday to cancel or amend your order due to be sent on Monday for Tuesday delivery. We can only accept cancellations by e-mail or telephone; please quote your account number and delivery postcode. We cannot accept cancellations after this deadline as the raw milk is bottled to order and is a perishable item.
